11/09/09 Sunrise Halo

With (at the time) Hurricane Ida in the gulf up here in Ky we usually get some cool sunrises and sunsets a day or so before they make landfall... this wicked sunrise was waiting for me on the way home from work....



This is a HDR (High Dynamic Range) image (gives color tones a wider range) made from 3 exposures.
