10-30-09 Wicked Sunrise

This morning I got treated to one of the better looking sunrises i've seen in a while. the clouds lit up like they were on fire. It was an awesome sight.....

10-23-09 Wet wet wet

Well so much for thunderstorms it just rained for the most part all day... Then just before sunset the clouds broke and got a great view of a rainbow that was very bright against the dark rain clouds.

10-09-09 Strong winds

Early AM line of strong storms with a history of 70-80 mph winds was approaching the area.. unfortunatly these storms died off as soon as they got into visible range... (typical) we did get some good 45-50 and maybe a 60 mph gust as the leading edge passed by. it did have some lightning but again this was dying off fast and in the heavy rainfall it was impossible to get any kind of shots.

What we did get was a few pics of a deteriorating shelf cloud as it came closer.
